I live in Bratislava with my filmmaker partner, Samuel, and our mischievous little dachshund, Pepsi.
I love good food, healthy living, and homemade matcha; calisthenics, yoga, and hiking with the dog.
Keeping space for those who need it; and in some small way, learning to keep it for myself.
And I’ve been a photographer now for over a decade. It’s what I do, what I’ve always done.
I’ve worked on the red carpets of Venice, shot from helicopters, and documented traces of the Slovak mafia. Stories I never thought I’d tell; doors I never imagined walking through.
Everything else is just a hobby. This- this- is the thing I love.
I’m more rock-n-roll than techno; more Britney than Swift. I’ve seen Iron Maiden in concert, Maneskin in a rainstorm; Rammstein three times and counting. Soundtracking my life like a movie, and raised on MTV.

The calming silence deep underwater.
Gravelled distortion and thundering drums.
Stumbled-upon galleries in faraway cities.
Fresh-fruit markets, and quality cacao.
Kept space, and mindful presence.
The beauty of cinema, the honesty of art.
And for years, that’s what I wanted to be: a film director. I went to afterschool courses and lectures; spent every summer at the Venice Film Festival with my dad.
But then, one summer, my life took a quick little turn…
We were staying with an Italian photographer, Lucia Gardin. And she asked me to be her assistant on the red carpet. I’d carry her camera bags, hold her reflector, set up her giant old-school flash. And then one day she let me have a go with her camera.
And oh my, I was in love.
It was soulful, and artful, and achingly honest. It pulled me in, and kept me- and after all these years, it’s never let me go.
This isn’t just a job to me. It’s a place where my soul feels free. It’s the people I meet; their connection, their families, their memories, their moments.
It’s an unending search for the beauty in-between. And seeing myself reflected in the stories I tell.
